Divorce /Letting Go
Weddings are filled with months of planning and ritual, but when the divorce comes, you usually walk out of the courtroom alone with the finality of the ended marriage. Whether you have desired the divorce or not, there is a sense of loss. When it is time to say good-bye, a divorce ceremony can help you end the relationship without bitterness, acknowledge whatever good has come from your union, and move onto the next stage of your life. For women, a divorce ceremony may involve a ritual of reclaiming your birth name.

The Divorce Ceremony would acknowledge that a divorce has or will occur, and that one or both members are seeking in earnest to reorder their lives in a healthy way. It would provide spiritual support and closure to a union that has been entered into with a spiritual blessing. It is a way of affirming the good that has been in the previous relationship and the continued presence of the love of God, family, and supportive friends to continue
Child Welcoming
Societies in every corner of the globe have baby naming ceremonies to welcome a new child into their group. These ceremonies usually involve the parents, grandparents, and other adults as well who vow to act as protectors, guides and guardians to help the child grow and develop. A celebrant baby blessing is the perfect answer when the parents are of separate faiths.
Adoption
After the adoption of a child, whether as an infant or an older child, an adoption ceremony helps to fold the new child into the existing family. Pictures of the adoption ceremony can be used to help explain how the child came to be in the family. For the older child, adoption ceremonies can be a powerful confirmation that they are now part of a new family unit with all the joys and responsibilities that entails.
Coming of Age
Adolescence is sometimes a period of psychological turmoil and a Coming of Age ceremony can help the young person’s emotional well-being by easing the passage to adulthood. These ceremonies can be both joyous and profound as they welcome young people into the world of grown-ups and allow the passing on of knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next. In the Southwest, a Quinceanera Ceremony is frequently held for young women at age 15.

It is not unusual to find ourselves experiencing profound growth or psychological change when we are far beyond adolescence – a change so dramatic we feel almost like a new person. Whether that happens at 30 or 70, a Coming of Age ceremony is appropriate to mark this life passage. One example of this is the Croning Ceremony for women of around age 50. A Croning Ceremony acknowledges a woman’s age, wisdom, and power.
House Blessings or Cleansing
New house? Fill it full of good vibrations and make it yours with a house blessing. Cleanse it of any lurking old vibes and invite friends to help make it truly your home. Something bad happen in the house? A house cleansing ceremony with salt, water, citrus and fire (candles) can make it fresh and new again.
Recovery from an Illness
A ceremony after healing and recovery have been achieved, where you wish for permanent wholeness and well-being and invoke a state of ongoing health is a wonderful way to bring closure to the challenges and fears that have been met, and affirm the wisdom and other gifts the illness has brought you and your loved ones. I would be honored to help you design a ceremony of well-wishing and blessing that celebrates your triumphs and recognizes your new path to wellness. A ceremony to mark a recovery from an illness also provides an opportunity to thank health-care providers for their courage and support. I can facilitate your ceremony in your home, in a hospital, in a natural setting or almost any other venue.
Renewal of Vows
In much the same way she works with her Weddings, Rev. Lindbeck creates beautiful and moving ceremonies for those who wish to renew their vows. People cry just as much, if not more, at these ceremonies, given the history of the couple, their children , grandchildren and friends who have walked the years with them, and look to the future for more to come.
Memorials/Celebration of Life
Miriam also presides over Memorial Services and Celebrations of Life. She meets with the family and close friends to talk about the person who passed on, to get to know and appreciate them as much as possible. She will gather special stories and anecdotes that make the service both touching and truly uplifting.

He organizes all the ideas the family has, works with all those who are participating and designs the service to flow with beauty, grace and inspiration.
Her utmost desire is to leave everyone with a sense of closure and completion and an ongoing relationship with the one who has gone on.
Infant/Child Blessings
Creates full Blessings for Infants and Children. hhe meets with the parents, weaves their ideas into the ones she brings to the meeting, and designs a celebration and welcoming everyone can enjoy and relate to.
Rites of Passage
Rites of Passage mark those important times in our lives where we have accomplished, achieved and take on new paths. Birthdays are an example, new jobs, graduation etc., are portals to new beginnings and take on larger meaning when we celebrate and acknowledge them. In ancient days, rites of passage were commonly done. and the significance of lifes’ processions was important. It is just as important in our lives to mark our thresholds and take our next steps in deeper awareness and appreciation for them, and to acknowledge the beauty and meaning of our own, personal journeys. Living life consciously enrichens our lives and the lives of those we love. Lost for a gift for someone’s birthday, graduation, new career? A Rite of Passage is a gift of a life-time.
Corporate Blessings
Corporate Blessing galvinizes the visions, the dreams, and calls them into actuality. They resonate with life and possibility and inspire those who’s work it is to carry them out. These kinds of Blessings never leave the minds of those who hear them, and they are a powerful way to launch a new beginning.
